Rob Harrison – The Man behind the Kitchen
Rob began his working career in his auntie’s restaurant and then moved on to work around the Hull and Beverly area – after a few years and wanting more experience and knowledge he decided to travel around Australia for a year, starting off in Sydney working his way up the east coast along to Melbourne in various kitchens.
Upon his return Rob became Sous Chef under James Mackenzie at the Pipe and Glass in South Dalton near Beverly and stayed there for 8 years – The Pipe and Glass gained a Michelin star in 2010 , winner of Michelin pub of the year and numerous awards for culinary excellence.
Rob joined the Devonshire Fell as Head Chef in early 2015 and brings with him a wealth of fine dining experience. His food speaks for itself – simple ingredients cooked perfectly.
